My name, in full is, Faye Tempest Cross and yes I am a Vampire.

I have lived so many years and no I am not going to reveal my age - a woman’s prerogative. I have been writing short stories and poetry for many a year but never sought to publish my works - however after speaking with my friend's and family, I came to realise I was missing out, so-to-say. And so my venture in self publishing began.

As a Vampire its was obvious the type of books I should write about, which is noticeable in my first few books, however I always felt there was something missing and so I delved into different genre’s of books and also many book sites. I realised that fantasy and futuristic paranormal was my next step. Variety, as they say, is the spice of life!

I say to you who read this, if you want to write, then do so, don’t let others stand in you way. Read as much as possible and write idea’s and short stories. Improve on your writing skills every day and try to get as much feedback as possible, from family, friends and of course fellow writers on the Internet. If any budding writers out there would like advice or would like something read and feedback given, I would gladly accommodate - we writers need to stick together.

I have actually published a poetry book, which has all my dark, saucy words of sexiness in them but that was just a bit of fun more than anything else. That is called Essence of A Dark Soul!
My debut novel is called Blood and Rain, it is book 1 in The Dark Rose Series and I have had some wonderful feedback and reviews so far and hope to get some more, hopefully, soon!
